Our Emma turned 3 on the 18th of January. I cannot believe that she is 3 years old. It is so crazy! We had a great week celebrating her birthday, as well as mine. We basically celebrated her birthday the whole week. My sister-in-law (Daniel's sister, Missy) was here to help celebrate. Emma loves to tell everyone that she is three now. We had her birthday party at My Gym on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. It really seemed like her and all of her friends had a great time. Thanks everyone for coming.

Time to Update

It has been forever since I updated our blog. A lot has happened since my last post. Emma has gotten so big. She started pre-school in August and has done wonderfully. She loves going, loves her teachers and really seems to love the other kids. Besides starting school, Emma has had a huge change in her life. We welcomed our second baby girl into our lives in December. Avery Reese was born on December 9th. She has been such a joy to have. She is a really good baby and just kind of goes with the flow of our lives. Emma has adapted well to being a big sister. She loves to give Avery hugs, kisses and even wants to help change diapers. I posted quite a few pictures below and still have more to come. Enjoy!

Big Girl Update!

Emma has really started becoming such a big girl lately. We have totally got her off her pacifier. She will tell you that the paci fairies came and took them to all the babies. This is something I read and it worked for Emma. It has been almost two weeks and we have had no melt downs (knock on wood). Emma has also taken her first trip without Mommy and Daddy today. She went to Austin to stay with Pop (my Dad) until Friday. We already miss her!!!

We visited the Easter Bunny at the mall this past weekend. Emma loved saying hello to him from a distance and wanted to touch him, but as soon as she sat on his lap the smile went away. There was no crying just no smiles either. I posted some pictures of her before it was our turn to sit with the Easter Bunny.
