Football Sunday

Daniel and I have an agreement that Emma can wear Giants stuff when the Cowboys are not playing and she can wear Cowboys stuff when the Giants are not playing. So today she was sporting her Eli Manning jersey. Of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some pictures of the little cutie in it. Go Giants!

Mackenzie Layne Quick

On Tuesday, September 22nd Mackenzie Layne Quick was born. This is the 7th grandchild in my family and the 5th little girl. She is such a cutie and I can't wait to watch her grow. Congrats Chad, Jaime and Charlie on the new addition to your family!

Kathy and Manny's Wedding

A couple of weekends ago we headed to El Paso. Daniel's cousin, Kathy was getting married. The wedding was so gorgeous. Emma was one of the flower girls. They all looked so adorable and we had such a great time. Congrats again Kathy and Manny. Thanks for allowing us to share in your special day.

Daddy's Little Girl

Emma has always been Daddy's little girl. She really does have him wrapped around her finger (and sometimes knows it). Last night after dinner, she convinced him to sit in the little chair at her table and color. It was so funny to see such a big man in this little pink chair. I couldn't help but take pictures.

18 Months Old

I know this post is a little late, but oh well. Emma had her 18 month check-up and she looks wonderful. Her doctor is very impressed with her vocabulary as well as her teeth. This kid has almost all of her teeth. It seems like it just happened overnight. Our next stop is the dentist, I am sure she will love that! But overall, Emma is great. She is so much fun. Daniel and I love that every day is a new adventure with her, she is learning new things and doing new things. Here are some of her latest stats:

Weight - 22.11 lbs. 25-50% (She is a little peanut)

Height - 32 inches 50-75%

I still have to post pictures and all from our vacation, so they will come soon......hopefully!!!

4th of July Weekend

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We have had a wonderful weekend. On Friday, we went to the beach with family and some friends. Emma had so much fun. She loves the beach and the ocean. Saturday, we went to the parade and then over to a friend's house to swim and cook-out. We ended the night with watching the fireworks. What a great day!

Father's Day Weekend

We had a fun weekend. I think Daniel enjoyed it mostly because he got the new golf club he had wanted. But we went to Austin to spend some time with my Dad. My sister and her family went also, so it was a lot of fun to watch Emma and Charlie play together. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Growing Vocabulary!

Each day it seems like Emma says something new. She is very vocal at home with Daniel and I but gets shy around others. It takes her a little time to warm up and then there is no stopping her. I think it is funny that Daniel and I know what she is saying but it isn't always clear to everyone else. Here are some of the words that she says all the time.

Funny Emma

I had to post these two pictures of funny things Emma does. She absolutely loves to feed the dogs and go into their room (the laundry room). We close the door when they are in there eating their dinner, so she doesn't bother them and below is a picture of what she does to get their attention and see them.

Family Weekend

Last weekend we had a family night at my sister's house. We all spent the night and had a great time. There were quite a few of us there. Daniel, myself, Emma, George, Nicole, Lauren, Addie, William, Sophie, Nana, Jaime, Chad & Charlie. So imagine 7 adults and 6 children all in one house. LOUD!! But everyone had a good time. Thanks Jaime, Chad, Charlie and Baby Quick for having us. I didn't get many good pictures at all, but here are a couple.

Memorial Day

I know this post is a little late, but I wanted to post some pictures of our trip to El Paso on Memorial Day weekend. We had a great time visiting family.

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all the moms out there had a great Mother's Day. Mine was absolutely wonderful. I love being a mom and this day is so special. Daniel and Emma made it such a great day. We headed to Galveston to spend a day at the beach (if that's what you call Galveston). We had an awesome lunch at a local place and then hung out on the sand and played all day. Thanks for such a memorable day! Also, I want to congratulate my good friend Ben for winning the election for Plano City Council, Place 2. Great job Ben! We know you will do an amazing job. Congrats!
